ante meridiem //
zine publication

The idea for Ante Meridiem was originally discussed in 2017 in an online group chat, but was never brought to fruition until my capstone in fall of 2023. Ante Meridiem is a publication focused on expressing thoughts that would otherwise fall by the wayside, many of which occuring in the dark of night. The phrase “ante meridiem” is Latin, and is actually where we get the abbreviation "A.M." The topic of this series is growth, depicted through the stages of life that my peers and I have experienced thus far. The first zine issue is childhood, the second is adolescence, and the third is adulthood. I focused on the first issue and printed more than 50 pocket-sized zines for natural distribution, and designed an additional box-set containing all three editions available for purchase. Created in Procreate, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; designed for RISO print
